Oxford University Press has issued editorial guidelines which advise writers and editors to avoid mentioning pigs or items that are pig-related (eg. breakfast sausages and the Warner Brothers 'toon character who says, "That's all, folks!"). I'm pretty sure you can figure out why it would make such a recommendation without me having to explain it.
